  • Who or what is this?
    An organization, person or place, with its official website and registry numbers.
  • Research papers
    Scholarly studies and academic research only, not news.
  • National Archives
    Historical federal records, documents and files from the National Archives Catalog.
Government money
  • Federal contracts and grants
    Individual government contracts and grants: what was bought, who got the money, which agency, how much.
  • A company's federal money
    One company's total federal awards (use Federal contracts and grants to see the individual contracts).
  • SEC filings
    A public company's own SEC filings: annual and quarterly reports, current-event reports, proxy statements, insider trading.
  • Political money
    PACs, super PACs and party committees, money organizations have given to them, and nonprofits, with what these records cannot show.

    Recent satellite pictures of a place, with the date and cloud cover.
  • Fires and heat detections
    Heat detections seen by NASA satellites near a place, usually fires.
  • Disaster alerts

  • Aircraft registry
    Look up a US-registered aircraft by tail number, hex code, make, or organization owner. Individual owners are not shown.
  • Airport delays and closures
    Current FAA ground stops, ground delay programs, delays and closures at US airports.
  • Flight restrictions (TFRs)
    Temporary flight restrictions now in effect or announced: security, VIP, hazards, space operations, sporting events.
  • Airports and airspace
    Any U.S. airport, heliport or seaplane base: runways, status, live delays, and the airspace over it. Or what airspace is over a place.

  • NTSB investigations
    Accident investigations in every mode (aviation, highway, rail, marine, pipeline, hazmat) back to 1962: by date, tail number or case number.
