Follows political money that is on the public record: PACs, super PACs and party committees with a matching name, money that organizations (not individuals) have given to committees, and nonprofits with that name. Use the full name of a company, association or group. Choose the gift size you care about first, then search; to see who funds a committee, search its name and open Largest gifts to it. What this cannot show: the donors behind most political nonprofits, LLCs and donor-advised funds are not public. Records show where money went, not always where it came from. More on private funding.
